October 1-31 • Virtual Zombie 5K & 1-Mile Walk
This is a fun virtual option for the Zombie Run. This activity encourages holiday fun to dress up and take photos of you your kids and family out on the trails. This activity is for all fitness levels and registration is open.

October 28 • Tots Trick-or-Treat Trail
Bring your little ones in their Halloween costumes and let them trick or treat at the Valley View recreation center. Admission is free, but a donation of two canned food items to benefit the Henderson Salvation Army is requested. Parent/guardians must remain on property.

October 28-30 • Haunted in the Desert
This is a FREE fall holiday event. Lots of treats during this fall holiday event. Haunted in the Desert, a spooky, old western ghost town comes alive providing a spectacular drive thru haunted experience. Pre-bagged treats will be given to children ages 2-12, while supplies last.

Fun For The Family In Las Vegas And Surrounding Areas
Pumpkin Patch at Gilcrease Orchard
The Pumpkin Patch in now Open through the end of October. Located on the northwest end of town, Gilcrease Orchard is 60 acres of agricultural land where you can visit and pick your own fruits and vegetables. At this time, they will be open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 am until 2:00pm. Entrance to the Orchard is FREE and wheelbarrows to carry pumpkins are first come first serve. They also have items for sale in their gift shop such as peanut butter, almond butter, kettle corn, and of course their famous apple and pear cider. Moapa Valley Corn Maze 2021
Th Moapa Valley Corn Maze the haunted corn maze, the pumpkin patch, zombie paintball, hayrides and more is great family event or date night. There’s plenty to do for the kids including a Bounce pillow, pedal carts, a playground, corn pit and cow train. There are also tasty fall treats and the Pumpkin Patch! The Corn Maze is open select days and times in October, you can see the full schedule on the website. They are open Wednesday- Sunday from September 30th- October 24th. They will then be open Tuesday, October 26th-Sunday, October 31st. Admission to the corn maze is $12, you can also book your own firepit for $50. You can book your tickets online.

HallOVeen at the Magical Forest
On October 8th, HallOVeen at the Magical Forest returns for all ages for a family-friendly Halloween experience benefitting Opportunity Village. The magical forest will be transformed into a scary but fun festival filled with food, rides and attractions for all. Dates for the Magical Forest will be October 8-10, 15-17, and 22-31. They’ll have treat stations, entertainment, great food, and Halloween and Pumpkin displays. This year, admission to HallOVeen at the Magical Forest includes ALL the rides and access to the two mini-escape rooms. Tickets should be purchased online and in advance. Gates open at 5:30pm each day. Tickets are $22 and can be purchased here. Children 3 and under are FREE. You can purchase 4 pack and 6 pack tickets for discounted rate.

Town Scary at Town Square

Pumpkin Patch at the Mckee Ranch
Pumpkin Patch hours will vary due to fall daylight changes. Opening hours are 12 to 6pm Monday-Friday & 11 to 6pm Saturday and Sunday to begin. They prefer a $20 donation per family- pumpkin included.
LaLaPhotography at McKee Ranch will be available for the entire month of October. The cost is $59 for a 20 min session which includes 3 digital images. Appointments are REQUIRED . No WALK INS accepted. Book online here:

Springs Preserve Annual Haunted Harvest
A family friendly festival for all ages, featuring trick-or-treat stations, a “Boo-tanical Garden,” monster training, carnival games, crafts, a petting zoo, live entertainment, and much more. The Haunted Harvest at the Springs Preserve will be held the last two weekends in October. Friday, October 22nd- Sunday, October 24th and Friday, October 29th- Sunday, October 31st, 2021, each day from 5pm-9pm. Tickets cost $9 per person, children aged 2 and under are free. Springs Preserve Value members receive $8, and Silver State Pass, Gold and Platinum donor members receive free admission. To purchase tickets, visit their website. Museum of Monsters at Tivoli Village
The Museum of Monsters is an interactive social media photo-op experience filled with life-sized creatures and monsters from your nightmares. This is the place to take Halloween scary selfies. Tickets to the Museum of Monsters are $20 per person, and it’s located at

Pumpkin Patches by Seasonal Adventures Oct 1-31
They will require masks to be worn during your visit. With two locations in the Vegas valley for 2021, these pumpkin patches provide thousands of quality pumpkins, as well as safe, fun family environment for you to enjoy. Each pumpkin patch has snacks and beverages for purchase, a petting zoo, inflatable bounce house, giant inflatable slides, a train you can ride, mechanical rides, and a bungee jump. For locations and hours, check out their website here. Pumpkin patches are not yet open, but run Monday-Thursday 3pm-9pm, Friday 3pm-10pm, Saturday 11am-10pm and Sunday 11am-9pm. They will close at 7pm on Halloween.

Parade of Mischief 2021
Park Centre Drive at Downtown Summerlin- Fridays & Saturdays in October at 7pm. A frightfully festive parade filling the streets of Downtown Summerlin with mischievous mayhem featuring dancing zombies, ghosts, witches, wizards, a rockin’ dead skeleton band and more! Gather every Friday and Saturday at 7pm for eerily impressive and spooky fun!
Asylum & Hotel Fear Haunted Houses
Asylum is back for 2021 and time Slots will be selling out!!! The scary thrill is located on 3 acres in the Meadows Mall Parking lot, with outdoor social distancing. The benefit to each patron is anyone buying a ticket will receive a VIP Experience-2 Haunted Houses. Tickets will be $30-$35 per person depending on group size (limit 6 in one group). Hours will be Thursday-Sunday beginning September 30th through October 31st (closed Sunday October 10th) beginning at 6:30pm. Please see the link for exact calendar dates, hours and tickets.
Fright Ride Haunted House
Fright Ride is Las Vegas’ largest immersive socially-distanced haunted attraction. Open select nights from 6:30 p.m. to midnight Oct. 1 – Oct. 31. Reservations are required and it is recommended to purchase in advance as availability each night will be limited in order to keep environment in sync with COVID-19 protocols. General admission tickets start at $24.99, with additional VIP/Premium upgrades available that offer guests express entry and a souvenir lanyard and credential.

Nightmare on Spring Mountain– FOR ADULTS
A Halloween themed pop-up. October 1st-31st, 2021, the blues bar will transform into a creepy, spooky, scary, celebration of All Things Halloween. The entire bar & lounge will be covered in Halloween decor and lighting and will offer a limited number of themed cocktails (and Oktoberfest beers, naturally). Costumes are highly encouraged, including and especially on the themed nights during the pop-up run. During specific event nights (not yet announced) all who come in the appropriate costume will receive a free welcome shot. See their FB page for more event details.
